Description

Spring League is for 9-12 year olds (3rd-6th grade) and is made up of only Grand Ledge players. This league is intended for all skill levels. All games and practices are in Grand Ledge. All 9-12 year olds must participate in spring league in order to try out for a summer team. There is no spring league for 13-14 year old players.

Team Selection

An evaluation clinic will be held for all spring league participants in early March. All Mustang and Bronco age (9-12) players are expected to participate. The purpose of the evaluation clinic is to allow the head coach of each league team an opportunity to evaluate players prior to the league draft. Participation at the clinic will help to maintain the competitive balance in the league and result in a better experience for everyone involved. Players are required to wear a protective cup, wear "tennis" shoes, and bring their gloves to the clinic.

A player draft will be held on at the conclusion of each age division's evaluation clinic. Attendance is mandatory by either the head coach or his/her representative. Once rosters are finalized, players will be contacted by the coach of their team with season details.
